Hst Famiglia!!!!

Hey guys!,

       As you probably guessed from the title of this blog, I got my host fmaily info!! I'm going to be staying with a family of six, three boys (25,14,4) and one girl (7) plus parents :) I will have four dogs, four bunnies, a cat, and a hamster. We live in a big yellow house by the city and across the street from an elementry school. I'm so glad i've finaly found out who they are and can start getting to know them! Now i'm going to have to decide what i'm going to get them as gifts from America.....

      Classes are going well, i'm exactly halfway through on everything and decided to take a little while off of it all, except Italian language. I'm trying to decide what kind of things i'm going to need for Italy like clothing, toiletries, makeup, etc.. and its super helpful to be able to ask my host family about it now :-)\

     I was think the other day, "why do people even live if not to enjoy it?". I was watching a show about how Americans in general have the most opportunities and freedom, yet they enjoy life the least :/ whats the point of living if you just sit around and waste all your life away? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Getting Things Finnished!

Hey guys!!

Right now i'm so bogged down with preparing to leave for Italy! I'm doing two onnline classes along with the global student course and Rosetta Stone. And i'm working at Whispers of Hope, a theraputic riding facility for the mentally and physically challenged youth :). I'm always sspending a lot ( probably too much) time with friends hahaha. But hey whats life for if you live it by yourself?

Im always trying to repeat whatever I say in Italian to see how much I know and I can repeat about half of everything I say. Thats not too bad for only haveing been studyying it for 7 months right? I hope I improve more I feel like I'm not going to be ready for Italy D:

The Beginning of Blogging :D

            Hi! My name is Beth Russell. I’m fourteen years old and I made the amzing decision to study  abroad in Italy! My home country is the great old U.S.A and I’ve lived in six of her states. I’ve also lived in Japan, which was the most amazing experience and partly responsible for the ambition I’ve gained to study abroad. I’m taking a course that is designed to prepare me for my experience in Italy. I hope it will improve my attitude, perspective, coping skills, etc. so I can gain as much as possible in my time abroad!

           I'm making this blog now, ten weeks and two days before my departure for ,hopefully the best experience of my my life, Italy! I'll keep this blog up to date so you guys can read my posts and stay in touch with  me while i'm in Italy :)!
